Are you intimidated by coloring/painting?

i wouldn't say that, more on the side of not spending enough time developing the skill set. However, some of the artist on Deviantart can be. ;)

You definitely should. Colors would bring your artwork to life and make them stand out even more. You've definitely mastered your sketching skills I think if you tried your hand at it your coloring/painting skills will be the same if better.

Wow! you have amazing artwork and an amazing style. I like how your sketches don't have massive amounts of detail but the anatomy is perfect. It really inspires me to better my art skills. You should definitely make art for a living. Do you have any published works? If you don't, you should ^^

Hey thanks i appreciate that. Yeah i'm semi-published, and working at this being my full time profession. As i'v learned over the years, it's about improving your "draftsmanship" and then applying it. There is so much more that goes into what i said. The key is you have to find what will help you learn your craft. There is no one way, because we all learn and absorb information differently.

Man, how did you get your anatomy looking so kick ass? Most of these may be sketches, but they're nicely done and I like the simple, grayscale shading. The way you portray your anatomy kind of reminds me of John Buscema, but I think the best thing about these is that no two faces look alike. I know I often end up drawing different characters who look similar in facial features, but I haven't seen that yet with yours. Nice work!

thank so much. Part of how i got my anatomy, as you say kick @$$, one is practice. the other is breaking things down to it's simplest forms, through the study of actual figures. i know that sounds cliche, but there really is no substitute for the discipline of your art form.
I'm surprised you mention Mr. Buscema, since his work is my biggest influence. ;) I guess over time i'm starting to take on some characteristics of his, without realizing it.
